Despite the bad weather, numerous participants came to this year's vintage car and Maico meeting in Bad Laasphe-Oberndorf. Due to the 650th anniversary of Oberndorf and Rüppershausen, the friends of old motorcycles Wittgenstein had to postpone this year's meeting to the first weekend in September. After it was still dry on Friday, the sky opened its floodgates on Saturday morning. The sun came out just in time for the tour, so that the participants survived the tour over 70 kilometers almost dry. Johannes Heiderich from Kirchhatten near Oldenburg had the longest journey. With his DKW SB500A, built in 1935, the journey started a week earlier this time. He traveled across Germany to the Moselle with his two North German comrades-in-arms, covering a distance of 1,111 kilometres. Thanks to all friends who visited and in this bad weather and spent a nice weekend with us.

Classic Car Meeting 2014
From 30.05. From 01.06.2014 to 01.06.2014 this year's vintage car and Maico meeting took place on the Schützeplatz in Obendorf. Just in time for the start, the last rain clouds disappeared and it was a sunny weekend. The first participants arrived on Thursday. Numerous other participants followed on Friday and Saturday, so that around 130 vehicles were counted by midday on Saturday. 50 of them started this year's tour through neighboring Hesse. "A great route with nice tasks", was the opinion of many participants. On Sunday, numerous day guests attended this year's meeting.
The Schützenplatz was already well filled on Saturday morning.
At 1.30 p.m. the tour started with 50 participants.

Classic Car Meeting 2013
The weekend of May 31st to 02.06.2013 was again all about oldtimers, petrol talks and good mood. The first participants arrived on Thursday for this year's classic car meeting at Schützenplatz in Oberndorf. Friday then began very rainy, which certainly prevented some from coming to Oberndorf. Added to this were the bad weather forecasts for all of Germany. Numerous friends braved the weather and attended our meeting as in previous years. Participants from the Netherlands, from Delmenhorst, Cologne, Arnsberg or the Ruhr area filled the campsite and the marquee until Friday evening. On Saturday's tour of about 55 kilometers it was cold but at least dry. Sunday then showed itself from the sunny side. Numerous day visitors arrived in the course of the morning.

Classic Car Meeting 2012
From 15th to 17th June this year's classic car meeting took place in Bad Laasphe Oberndorf. The first participants arrived on Thursday. Friday started very rainy, but there were still many participants from different regions. Delmenhorst, the Netherlands, Swabia, the Black Forest and numerous friendly Maico drivers from all over Germany were represented. In the evening there was enough time for fuel talks around the campfire or in the marquee. Saturday didn't start rainy anymore - there was constant rain. A good mixed breakfast party had formed in the tent. People talked shop and the question kept popping up: "How much water is there left?". The first lakes and brooks were already forming in the tent, good for anyone who had rubber boots with them. Despite this, everyone was in a good mood and confident that the weather would change. At the start of the tour it was still raining so that some participants protected themselves with garbage bags. The rain abated during the tour, so that all participants came back reasonably dry after about 3 hours. Members of the oldtimer IG Bad Berleburg also took part in the tour. A big thank you to all participants of this year's classic car meeting, who didn't shy away from coming to Oberndorf despite the bad weather. For a change, Sunday morning began with sunshine, which attracted numerous day visitors to Oberndorf.

Classic Car Meeting 2011
From June 3rd to 5th, this year's two-wheeler veterans meeting and Maico meeting took place on the Schützenplatz in Bad Laasphe - Oberndorf. In the most beautiful summer weather, the first participants arrived on Thursday. The Schützenplatz in Oberndorf filled up quickly on Saturday. Around noon you could count over 100 motorbikes. These included numerous vehicles from the MAICO brand. In the afternoon, 50 participants started the tour through the Wittgensteiner Land. One station was the radio museum in Bad Laasphe. Most of the participants left on Sunday morning after a nice weekend in Oberndorf. We would like to thank all helpers and participants for the successful event.

Classic Car Meeting 2010
From June 4th to 6th this year's two-wheeler veterans meeting and Maico meeting took place on the Schützenplatz in Bad Laasphe - Oberndorf. In summery weather numerous friends already arrived on Friday. One of them was Johannes Heiderich, who covered the 420 kilometers from Kirchhatten on his DKW RT250/2 and, as always, rode his motorbike straight to the counter. On Saturday, 40 participants started the tour through the Wittgensteiner Land.

Classic Car Meeting 2009
On the weekend of May 15th to May 17th, 2009, this year's two-wheeler veterans meeting and Maico meeting took place at Schützenplatz in Bad Laasphe-Oberndorf. Many well-known classic car fans already arrived on Friday. After it only rained on Friday evening, Saturday was a cool but dry day. 35 starters went on the journey through the beautiful Wittgensteiner Land on the tour on Saturday.
